Young Professionals

We are the Young Professionals group of The Virtual Shul!  Since our founding in 2007, we have grown from a small monthly social group of 10-12 friends to a network of more than 250 21-39 year olds. 

We hold at least one shabbat service each month, one Jewish learning program per month, and 1-2 other social events, all of which are open to everyone in their 20s and 30s!

What should I be noticing?  On every page, we will point out the Tools 4 Shuls modules in use, and include links to the administration pages, so that you will be able to test it out.  Just look for this box near the bottom of any page!  Log into the administration panel to see how easy it is to update this site!  Username and password are both "demo" Calendar The "Upcoming Events" section of this page is drawing the next 3 events from the "young professionals" category of the calendar.  You have the ability to specify a category, number of events, and whether or not to display the descriptions for each event.  Visit the Boards and Committees webpage, or the Youth Group webpage to see other examples of the calendar display! Announcements The "Announcements" section of this page is drawing the 3 announcements with the highest ranking, specific to the "Young Professionals" category.  Some announcements are set to not be displayed on the homepage, so they will only show up on this page. Photo Gallery The Photo Galleries section of this page shows some of the albums created within the Young Professionals category.  It's incredibly easy to create new categories, galleries and post pictures -- anyone can do it!
