We set this site up to give you some ideas for your synagogue website.  All of the features that you see here can be installed on your own site to fit within your layout -- whether you want to build a site from scratch or just add functionality to your existing site.

Tools 4 Shuls are designed to be user-friendly and easily updatable without the need for a webmaster! That means anyone in your office can log in to the system and add/remove/edit items on your website without the cost of a webmaster.

Everything here was designed specifically for synagogues and Jewish nonprofits.  Our calendars come with location-based candle-lighting times, holiday dates and Torah portion information.  Our announcement system and calendar can be configured to provide separately displayed information for each group within your organization.  Our sermon/lecture archive allows you to upload videos, audio, PDF and text files and have them automatically posted on your site.  Our listserve system gives you the ability to keep in touch with your congregants and members easily and without any additional monthly charges.

What should I be noticing?  On every page, we will point out the Tools 4 Shuls modules in use, and include links to the administration pages, so that you will be able to test it out.  Just look for this box near the bottom of any page! Calendar The "Upcoming Events" section of this page is drawing the next 3 events from the calendar.  Since this is the homepage, it is drawing events from all categories.  Visit the Young Professionals webpage, or the Youth Group webpage to see this calendar display category-specific events! Announcements The "Announcements" section of this page is drawing the 3 announcements with the highest ranking.  Some announcements are set to not be displayed on the homepage, so they will only show up on specific pages, such as the Boards and Committees webpage.
